The task here was to create a refreshed printed menu design for Kilovolt Coffee, an artistic and alternative coffee shop located in the residential and industrial neighborhood of West Oakland.
The design brief required the final deliverable to stay within the current branding guidelines of the coffee shop. To only use two colors and incorporate a sense of kinetic energy, movement, angular, bold shapes and electrical circuits.
A few artwork options I generated for the cover side of the menu. I experimented with various placements of elements to achieve a different look and feel each time.
For the detail side of the menu, I kept the typography uniform while experimenting with visual elements around the text. These are the variations I came up with for the client to critique.
The client decided on this particular design combination for the final deliverable.

POINT APP is the first social media app for all things charity. Users use their smartphones to learn about causes, discover links to charities and find volunteering opportunities.
The project deliverable was to develop high-resolution pixel perfect screen designs for the client's mobile application.
This project involved a lot of UiUx skills, development of iconography, typography, grids and layout to ensure maximum readability and logical flow.

The project brief was to create a large-scale illustration for a Street Kids Refuge Home in Brisbane, Australia.
The goal of the client was to create an image that deters young homeless kids from drugs and alcohol use.
The mural was intended to be placed on the feature wall of the Street Kids Refuge Home's common recreational room. And smaller replicas adhered to outdoor city walls as posters.
I went for a collage inspired mural with a grungy dark look. Cutouts, stencils and graphic splashes of bold color give the artwork a youthful feeling yet giving a clear warning about the potential dangers and the uncomfortable reality of drug use and addiction.
